I met Tiffany a few years ago when she came to work at the Starbucks where I was a Shift Supervisor. She quickly found out that I was also a wedding photographer and asked to look at our work. After she did, just about once a week she would say "when I get married you are going to photograph my wedding." So, when Andrew finally popped the question, we were one of the first calls she made to start planning! Tiffany is a little firecracker, we always had such fun when we worked together. It's so fun to have that history and familiarity with your couples.
Andrew is in school in California, so we had to find the right time when he would be on a break and be able to come back for a visit. It worked out perfect for all of us to do their session when Andrew was home around his Winter break. We met up with them at Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort. It is one of our favorite places to shoot! There is so much variety, with trees, water, cool buildings.
Their proposal story: "Early in the week Andrew sent Tiffany money to get her nails done. That Friday night Andrew sent her a dress that she thought was for a girls night. She put it on and went to dinner with one of her best friends Katherine, which was actually at the same restaurant as their first date. After dinner Kat drove Tiffany to St. James and handed her a note from Andrew. There were notes scattered all throughout St. James with each note leading her to the next. The last note led her to the fountain where Andrew was there to surprise her. He popped the question, she said "yes", and the rest is history."
They are so cute. Jessica and I can't wait for their big day in June!!! It's going to be so much fun to be a part of it!
