We met Rachel and Lou on a rainy day at Topiary Park in Columbus. It wasn’t as much rainy as it was misty and humid. But we decided to try to make it work regardless. Topiary Park is in a gorgeous section of Columbus called Victorian Village.
These two are so sweet. They are just as geeky as we are, loving Marvel movies and Game of Thrones. We all enjoyed getting to know each other as we walked around the park, which has topiary statues likened after George Seurat's painting, A Sunday Afternoon. Together we reminisced about our favorite Louisville restaurants and things to do.
At our engagement sessions we always end up talking about pets since we have dogs who we love to talk about like they’re our kids. Rachel and Lou have two cats, brother and sister. They said they are white with black spots on their heads and that they look like they have little toupees. Their names are Pongo and Perdita (from 101 Dalmatians).
We had such a great time with Rachel and Lou and loved getting to know them. We can’t wait for their wedding in September in Louisville.
