Kirby & Brian | Anchorage, KY Engagement Session

Kirby and Brian are so cool.  We had such a great time with them during their session at Anchorage Trail Park outside of Louisville.

This was another cold day, actually just a continuation of the same cold weekend as the last two sessions ha!  But, we had a great time despite the cold.  There were quite a few photographers in the park, trying to get the last of the Fall colors into their photos.  But, thankfully, Jessica and I have shot in that park enough to know where to go to get away from the crowds.

When asked what Kirby and Brian like to do for fun, they mentioned watching Disney movies with their friends.  We all bonded over this, even after Jessica admitted she had never seen "Aristocats," which we all chastised her for numerous times throughout the session.  Brian and I even had to burst out the title song from the movie.  We had quite a few laughs about it.

They both did a great job in their photos, smiling and laughing naturally, giving us just what we need for natural photos that personify them.  We love when our couples need little coaching and get through their session with ease.

Toward the end of their session Kirby changed into a cute jersey that has her soon-to-be last name written on the back.  Those photos definitely brought out their playful side as they walked and danced around while Jessica snapped away.

Jessica and I are so excited to photograph their wedding at Gardencourt in Louisville this August!
