Amanda & Chris |Jeffersontown, KY Engagement Session

Amanda and Chris are so sweet and compliment each other so well.  Amanda is Emily's sister, and was the maid-of-honor in her wedding.  It was such a unique privilege to get to spend some time with Amanda and Chris at Emily and Michael's wedding in a more relaxed setting.

Amanda and Chris wanted somewhat of a rustic setting for their engagement photos, so Jessica and I decided that Blackacre Conservancy would be a good fit for them.  Unfortunately, the gate at the end of the driveway had been broken, so they had to close and lock the gate manually, which meant we had little time in that area.  But we did a handful of photos around the barn and in the field, and even with a couple of horses.  Amanda chose perfect outfits too; she wore a lacy white dress and Chris had on a plaid shirt and nice jeans.

Once Blackacre was about to close, we headed down to Pope Lick Park which is part of the Parklands system on Floyd's Fork Creek.  Amanda and Chris brought their yellow lab along with them for some photos.  He is so cute!  He's pretty hyper, but we were able to get him to stay still for a few photos.

Then, after a quick change, we headed back out to the front of the park for some more photos down by the creek.  It was quite the adventure trying to get Amanda down to the water in her wedge heels, but she braved it for the sake of her photos.

We had a great time with Amanda and Chris.  And we can't wait for their wedding this December!
