Addie & Jack | Louisville Engagement

Again, the rain got the better of us for Addie and Jack's engagement session.  After rescheduling once because Jessica had the flu, we were able to get together with at the end of February.  However, the rain was not cooperating.

Thankfully, we were able to have part of the session in our studio in Louisville.  We took advantage of our wall of windows and sat them on the floor, on one of our love seats, and even at our small table with coffee cups, so it looked like they were having their morning coffee.  They were nervous, but soon found their groove and they did a great job looking natural in front of the camera.

When the rain finally calmed to a light drizzle, we headed outside and across the street to a historic home called the Frankfort Ave Coach House and can be rented on Airbnb.  It served as a great neutral back drop for the photos and there were even some green plants, which were great to see since it seems winter will never end.

I love their simple and loving proposal story!  "So Jack got all of our family together. I didnt know. We went to dinner at our favorite sushi place. We came back to our place and I opened the door and there were flowers and candles every where. I turned the corner and saw our families there. He got down on one knee and asked me to marry him." -Addie

We can't wait for their September wedding!  And it's at a new venue for us, the Muhammad Ali Center.
